What should you know before integrating?
These answers cover the ZeroFA developer API. The live catalog is the source of truth for capabilities and prices.
ZeroFA is an OpenAI-compatible multi-model API gateway with a unified catalog, API keys, usage records, billing, and wallet management.
Use the live model catalog as the source of truth, or call GET /v1/models with your current key. Availability depends on the key group and upstream status.
In most cases, set base_url to https://zerofa.ai/v1 and use an API key created in the console. Check the API docs for endpoint-specific fields and support.
The API uses a prepaid wallet and real-time usage billing. Charges may be based on tokens, images, video duration, audio duration, or characters. See the live catalog for prices and tiers.
Failed requests have zero cost. If a stream disconnects early, tokens already generated are still billed. Asynchronous media tasks follow the success-settlement rules in their endpoint docs.
Inputs are forwarded to the relevant upstream model provider to complete inference. Call metadata, account, and transaction information are handled under the Privacy Policy. Personal data is not sold.
Eligibility, return method, and non-refundable cases are governed by the Refund Policy and Terms of Service. Review those pages before submitting a request.
Keep the response request_id, check parameters, balance, key permissions, and rate limits, then use exponential backoff or choose another available model.
